"I have from ScotlandsPeople, the Old Parish Register record (693/0080 0379) of my gg Grandfather, John GRAY's 1828 marriage in the Parish of Liberton to Pringle SANDERSON, which states (as far as I can read the script) - "That John Gray Labourer Inch Gate and Pringle Sanderson residing at Bridgend, both of this Parish..." Alan, I do not know about Inch Gate but Pringle Sanderson's parents, Thomas Sanderson and Margaret Johnston were my husband's (and yours) ggg Grandparents. John Gray died 30 Jan 1894, East Lodge, Duddingston Policy. Pringle died 11 February 1879 at the same address. I have more information on their family which I would prefer to send off list. Helen.
