I have a Robert Nesbitt (sp) m to Janet West, in Inveresk with Musselburgh, Midlothian, 1815. By the time their son James Nisbett b 1816, the family living in South Leith, Edinburgh. Robert Nisbett's occupation was 'staymaker' Janet's Father was a 'Cooper' South Leith.. Have only just started on this line, still to find out where/when Robert Nisbett was born. Does anyone recognise this family ?
