Hi Leslie, I am not sure if you and other listers are aware of the Scotland BMD exhange. http://www.sctbdm.com/ It now contains just over 35,000 entries, at the start of this year (or was it last year), the Sue the lady who was doing the hard graft was looking forward to hitting 20,000... Posting to the exchange is easy, I post every OPR transcriptions and all my Scotland people BMD downloads, I do mine in bulk lots of 75 to 100,(which reminds me I better get one away) but you can post an entry at a time, its very very easy. Of course its always worth a look because Sue is always doing updates, just a word of warning if you post an entry one day don't expect it to be up the next day. This site is the by far the easist BMD exchange to naviagate. However it does not include census enties. cheers John Dods Wellington, New Zealand > >-----Original Message----- > > From: Leslie Hastings > [mailto:leslie@kodiak-web-design.com] > > Sent: Saturday, December 11, 2004 9:39 PM > > To: MIDLOTHIAN-L@rootsweb.com > > Subject: [MLN] Free extra names - BMD and census > >I've > > just finished the first installment of a project > > I've been meaning to > > tackle for a long time.
