Hello Is there someone who would be able to identify the uniform worn in an 1836 photograph? It is of two men in kilts, (military dress), one named A.W. McIntosh (our ancestor) with a gun and the other named S. Henderson with a sword. Archie McIntosh was a glazier by trade according to the various census we have found, BUT we also know he was in the Boer War at the Siege of Ladysmith. Except for the date, the reverse side of the photograph is blank and the front shows a photo on a piece of cardboard, like a postcard. many thanks, Jane McIntosh -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
