Hello listers; I'm hoping that someone can help with this name. I have found the following on the IGI: James BEVERIDGE, son of James BEVERIDGE and Christina ALLAN marries Betsy TODD, daughter of James TOD and Elizabeth SMITH on 29 June 1860 in Carnbroe, Holytown, Lanark, Scotland I have found Christina ALLAN born 1826 in Cambusnethan, Lanark but can find no record of a marriage to James BEVERIDGE. I have James BEVERIDGE born 1842 in THolytown, Lothian (assumed mistake) living with a family where all were born in Dalgety, Fife and are living there. I have found James BEVERIDGE, born 1836 in Armadale, West Lothian and that is where the rest of the James' BEVERIDGE and Betsy TODD family were born. James BEVERIDGE born in 1836 goes with the 1881 census but it also states that he was born in Carfin (near Holytown). I have tried Scotlands People but did not find the marriage. HeatherB HeatherB
