Alison, I saw your mail in MLN tonight. What a coincidence, since I just got a small photo today from my brother-in-law. It shows my mother-in-law walking in Uphall with Mr. Petty and behind them ( the only one with a lovely smile for the camera ) is Ainslie, with her mother. My wife and her siblings could not help in you research, but know the family well. If you want the photo, let me know and I can deliver it to Ainslie's home in Uphall. Kind Regards, Archie Gilbert. PS I'll be looking out for a lady with a Florida tan in Uphall .----- Original Message ----- From: "Allison Vidal" <allswell58@hotmail.com> To: <MIDLOTHIAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 20, 2005 9:39 PM Subject: [MLN] County Question and Census Lookup > Hello List Members, > Does anyone have access to the 1861 census for Linlithgow or West Lothian? > I have documentation regarding my ggrandfather born in Bathgate listed in > the County of Linlithgow.
