    3. It was working for me a few minutes ago - but alas, no joy. Alan Merryweather I have just update the list of names that I have found on the documents I have acquired from the ScotlandsPeople website. These include birth, death and marriages from 1800 to 1956, mainly for the Edinburgh area. There are now about 450 names in the list (sorted by surname). If you find any of interest, email me and I will send you a copy of the image you requested, for free, because "Genealogy is meant to be shared". The link is: http://www.geocities.com/egnisbet/Genealogy/FoundNames.htm Good luck with your research. 2. J D v Dods
    3. Hi everyone, with others mentioning the sharing of certs I thought I might mention the Scottish BMD exchange, this is a site in which people like you & me can enter from details of Scotland People Images or transcripts/photocopies from OPR films so that we can share with others, the maintained by the hard working Sue Lund, who has been running it for many many years. To date there are is just shy of 58,000. The site is similar to other nationial BDM shareing sites arround the world, and IMHO the best set out. So.... If you if you haven't been before visit: http://www.sctbdm.com If you haven't been for awhile go back & check it and if like me you have some(more) certs to add to push the record counter up please take time to do so. A few points, Sue like all other BMD exchange site owners is a volunteer, so it may take some time for your record to appear after you have sent to her, so be paitent and if you see a record that looks like one of yours contact the person who provided it not Sue. Good Hunting, John Dods Wellington, New Zealand Proud to be a transcriber for the freeCEN Project and volunteer for Random Acts of Geneological Kindness Ask me how you can contribute to either of these worthy projects or for other ways of helping our hobby.
