    1. [MIDLOTHIAN] IGI page for finding children

    3. Neville, someone is having difficulty getting onto the IGI children search. I went to the familysearch.org home page. I then entered only the surname SEATON, clicked for marriage and entered Scotland. The page that I use and have on my favourites then came up. You will now be able to use the instructions I posted earlier. You can also enter batch numbers. You will see the batch number on the results page. At the bottom of the entry it will tell you if the record has been submitted or extracted. I hope this helps someone! Sheila.

    3. Hi Sheila No matter what I try it does not work, I keep on getting redirected to the same page with the following message:- "If you enter a last name without a first name, you must not fill in any other field except a country" It is either I am doing something wrong or maybe it is a regional thing. Any more hints that I could try? 3. Hi Ian, I think you're putting the last name in the first field, (after given name) Skip that part altogether, just put in -the father's given and surname -the mother's given and surname choose: birth (don't put any dates or anything) British Isles Scotland. That's it! be sure not to have the surname in the first surname field. hope that helps Tammy BC Canada On 21/06/2010 1:51 PM, Ian Westergaard wrote: > Hi Sheila > > No matter what I try it does not work, I keep on getting redirected to the > same page with the following message:- > > "If you enter a last name without a first name, you must not fill in any > other field except a country" > > It is either I am doing something wrong or maybe it is a regional thing. > > Any more hints that I could try? > > Ian Westergaard > > > On Mon, 21 Jun 2010 21:26:51 +0100, Pentlands<fmckinnear@sky.com> wrote: > >> Neville, someone is having difficulty getting onto the IGI children >> > search. > >> I went to the familysearch.org home page.
