Hello List I am tracing Redpath's who are descended from Alexander Redpath and Isabella Darg Alexander the couple lived at 67 Torphichen Street ,Edinburgh, was a Master Slater employing 4 man in 1881. Peter Darg Redpath married a Janet G Smith in 1885 , St Georges Edinburgh, his sister Beatrice Runciman Redpath married a Walter Crow in 1884, St Georges , Edinburgh . Also seeking a family whose parents were ,Peter Redpath and Jane Sinclair , Peter was a Butcher, living at 8 Hamilton Place, Edinburgh. Ann Hope Redpath married Walter Crow in 1886 , In St Georges, Edinburgh . I would love to hear of these couples. If anyone has Redpath's in the area I have many to share mainly the descendants of Alexander Redpath and Lilias Murray who had a large family in Dunbar and surrounding area. I am having difficulty in getting more info on A William Seaton, part of the problem is that the Edinburgh and Berwixk areas had so many Seatons and even more sons named William in my wifes case 5 Williams in 6 generations. The one I am battling with is William Seaton, a Fisherman of Newhaven married on 19 September 1789 to a Jacobina (Binnie) Brown. This is the only info I have managed to dig up on him and His wife. (from the OPR for N L eith)) One source says they had 8 children but I can only find records of one, a William born 31 October 1801 (from the OPR Leith N) Any Ideas?
