    3. What I found was that I had chosen "Birth/Christening" under "Event" when trying to do this and was getting an error. If I chose "All" under "Event", it worked.     3. Thanks for that Patty. You musn't choose events or dates, only the headings I have listed. It can be so frustrating, but I would like others to gain as much information as I did years ago by listing just parents and getting sometimes 15 births and Christenings come up. Sometimes you will find quite a span in dates because there are more couples with the same names! Sheila.     3. I've never had any problems doing a parent search in the IGI when I've included a specific event and year (with a plus/minus).
