I found a John Lindsay who married Susan Wilson in 1750 in Inveresk, had Helen in 1751, Margaret in 1753 and Katharine in 1755. Also found a John Lindsay and Joan[na] Wilson who had Patrick in 1762, John in 1764 and Joanna in 1770 in Lasswade. I believe its the same John as he was a witness at William Lindsay and Margaret Brown christenings in both Inveresk and Lasswade and John and William are coal miners in both parishes. I did not find a marriage for John and Joan[na]. I am wondering if Joanna and Susannah are variants of the same name? Or did John marry two Wilsons? Patty
