Hi List, I know this is a Scottish list, but I need help , can anyone please tell me if there is an Irish research site like Scotlands People. My daughter-in-laws Mother just died suddenly recently, and the only birth and marriage certificates my Daughter-in law can fin are only extracts, so no Parents names, she knows her Grandparents were Richard and Francis Irvine and they lived in Belfast in 1946, but beyond that nothing. I would like to find a way to get the birth certificate and also the marriage if possible. Hoping someone can steer me in the right direction, Thanks in Advance. Ruth Edwards
In reply to Ruth Edwards: I've had good luck with Eneclann, although they're different than Scotland's People in that they do the research. I used them to find the marriage record of my great-great-grandfather circa 1817, but it sounds like you know enough to make their job do-able. http://www.eneclann.ie/
