Hi All! Sorry to but in on this thread. Maybe I'm grasping at straws but my interest was aroused when the name LOCKIE popped up. I am looking for a male Lockie who was married to a ISABELLA (ISABEL, ISABELLE) SEATON Margaret Seaton daughter of William Seaton and Elizabeth Bell was born abt 1826. later in the 1891cencus records she is listed as resident with her brother John (1829-1899) with the surname of LOCKIE so presumably she was a widow by then. nearly all my Seatons are from the Midlothian/Eastlothian and Berwick areas. I have a possible marriage of Isabella Seaton to a Charles Lockie on 12/12/1845 in Peterhead Abderdeen but no coroberating evidence that it is my Isabella.
