I have twin brothers, based on the information from Scotland's People had their baptism recorded in two different churches, on the same day and wondered how this could happen. Hugh and Myles MALONE where baptized at St. Patrick's Church on 13/2/1858, where also baptized in St. Mary's Church on the same date. Also when children where being sponsored for baptism, would the could the sponsors be of the same sex or are they the same as Godparents. Thank you in advance, John Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada
