I'm trying to confirm the parents of Robert ADAMS, born abt 1807 in the parish of Edinburgh. Robert's death certificate states his parents were Robert Adams and Catherine Slater. So far using Family Search and Scotlands People I have been unable to find a birth or baptism certificate for Robert. Can anyone help me please? Thank you, Dianne
