I have recently made contact with my cousin in Canada, she has just celebrated her 96th birthday. I am now looking for details of her mother’s, my aunt, cremation. My aunt died 13/04/1930 in Datchet and the funeral service was at a church in Wimbledon. I thought the cremation may have been at Putney but cremations there did not start until 1938. My cousin would like to know if her ashes were taken to Canada or if they were lest at the crematorium. Can anyone tell me where the cremation would have taken place, would there have been a service at the crematorium and would there be any records. Many thanks Jenny
