I'm looking for records for the period 1698 to 1714. I don't seem to find them either in Ancestry or Family Search. Are they available on line?

Yes. The PRs lodged at the Westminster Archive Centre, including those of St Margaret's, have been digitised and indexed by FindMyPast.
