I would like to sit and chat with my 3 x grandparents, John Young Jameson (1790 - 1845) 'gentleman' and Jane Douglas Oliver (1786 - 1863) of 9 Allsop Terrace Marylebone, married 1817 St James Piccadilly. John was on a Army part pension and also clerk for the Agent & Paymaster for the Out Pensioners - Royal Chelsea Hospital. Searching for his service records has drawn a blank. And Jane's father, John Oliver (1761 - 1816) a baker in Edinburgh before moving family to Marylebone and becoming a 'gentleman' owing properties in the Minories. Cheers Rose in Oz
