    2. Thanks to John Henley for the link to the London map. At first this link didn't appear to be working as everywhere seemed to be greyed out, but as you clicked the plus sign and zoomed in, the streets appeared, and there were even workhouses listed and things like electric lighting company etc. The detail was brilliant and for someone who doesn't know London well, a speedy way of finding things. You can select the general area you're looking for (by parish) and it takes you right there. I found North Street in Marylebone in minutes where I couldn't even locate the general area in other online maps and spent ages going backwards and forwards. Jean Belfitt

    3. I sent a request for a copy of a Bapt. I found on the Internet and received this reply. The Bapt. was at the Garrison Anglican Church Montreal Canada in 1761. Can anyone help please.     3. Hello Sheila, My French is a bit rusty, but I think it says We have received your e-mail. Your request will be processed within three weeks (I didn't put the next three weeks because the word 'prochain' was missing). If necessary, do not hesitate to contact our staff at 514-873-1100 extension 6260 (French).
