    3. I had an occasion on the last free offer where they'd debited my card in the middle of the night before the day it was due to expire - and I'm in NZ where we're first to see the new day!! But when I complained they were quick to reverse the charge. I find that you have to stick with the site to learn how to navigate it. Their Westminster records have been really useful for me, and I wouldn't like not to be able to access them. You do need to search over a broad date range to bring up the entries you want - but I find the American content less pervasive and annoying than on Ancestry!! I agree that the facility to search on parents' names would be useful though. BTW, if you go into the main search page http://search.findmypast.com.au/search-world-records (click on Search from the band across the top of the page) there is a link to the old search. It is standard practice to take card details with any offer. It's unlikely they've "harvested" your card details as few (including FMP) now keep details on their site. If you are sure they have done as you say, contact them and insist they remove you information and contact your bank to tell them there may be an unauthorised charge to your account. I'd also suggest you contact your lawyer and the police. There have been a great many complaints about FMP ever since they updated their site about how impossible it was to navigate it. *Crossposting removed* -- List Admin, Middx . ************************************** Send your List messages using *PLAIN TEXT* and always *DELETE* all previous messages EXCEPT the one to which you are replying. *MEANINGFUL Subject Lines* ie name or topic, date and place with surnames only in CAPS.
