Hello All. After a busy year in which too much work kept me from the important task of displaying historical maps, I am finally back, with a map that was well worth waiting for. In an attempt to fill the gaps for decades with little London map representation on the MAPCO website, I have scanned and restored the following beautiful little map: Kelly's Post Office Directory Map Of London 1857 http://archivemaps.com/mapco/kelly1857/kelly.htm This hand coloured map of London is highly detailed, and is the earliest example of a Tape Indicator Map that MAPCO has ever come across. The map displays London Postal District boundaries, hand coloured in outline. Use the thumbnail map at the top of each page to navigate your way around the map. Hovering your mouse pointer over the thumbnails will display a pop-up message showing the areas covered by that map section. A coloured thumbnail image shows you where you are on the map. The usual 'click to enlarge' feature applies to the individual map section images displayed. I hope you like this pretty and useful little addition to the MAPCO website. Enjoy the MAPCO website. It is free! Kind regards, David Hale, Adelaide, South Australia.
