Hi, I have a mystery HORNBLOWER family. I have Mary Mercy BELLAMY spinster, born abt 1780 died 1840 who in her will leaves her cousin Elizabeth RANSOM nee HORN BLOWER her estate. Elizabeth RANSOM, widow was said to be from Molten Mowbray, Leicestershire but the BELLAMY family were all from Middlesex. In fact Mary was the daughter of John BELLAMY who stated the Eating House in the House of Commons in 1773. The family were well to do with Mary's two siblings being witnesses to her will. I do not have a maiden name for the wife of John BELLAMY her mother. Maybe the HORNBLOWER is connected through her mother's family? Does any one have any suggestions for me? Regards, Jenny New Zealand
