Do you have some ages which might help locate the record please? Your posting attached my interest as I have a Henry James Hallon who was born c.1827 in Ireland, but who was living in London from 1863 when he married my ancestor Isabella Farrant until the early 1870s when they moved to Brighton. From the marriage certificate I know Henry's fathers name was James, but I have no other details on Henry before 1863 and do not know when he came over from Ireland or whether he had other family members in England.
