    3. Hi Nivard & Jon I went back to the first page and searched from there. The third page has handwritten at the top, 'Date of Admission into Workhouse or Infirmary', which is where they start doing this division of dates in one column. So it looks as though the 'first' column is the workhouse admission, and the 'second' is into the infirmary. Individuals seem to have one or the other, but not both dates. So it looks like 3 Aug 1869 was his admission into the infirmary, and admission to the workhouse was on 28 Jul 1869.
