FreeBMD is an excellent price, very affordable ;)) They're up to about 1935 now but will only go as far as 1983 when the GRO indices were digitised. It's a shame they won't go any further. Their search engine is a lot more flexible than any of the others. It would also make sense if the IPS allowed them to continue up to the most recent one (abt 9 months ago) since they are free and that's the criteria for the IPS putting them online.
