Hi Hazel Have you got Hannah's will (available via www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline)? And there is also a will for a John LAWSON of Finchley in 1787 which might be relevant. And a small correction - Whetstone *was* partly in the ancient parish of Finchley, but is now very much a place in its own right. Totteridge Lane is a very snazzy address! Best wishes Caroline > Good evening > I am looking for a Henry Lawson son of John and Hannah Lawson nee > Summers who lived during the mid 1770's in Totteridge Lane, Village of > Whetstone (today Finchley), London. > > I would be interested in anyone who feels they may have a connection to > this Lawson family other names of interest are HILL, GYHON, DILWORTH. > > John Lawson the father was a dry goods chandler who married twice his > first wife was Alice Dilworth. > > Warm Regards > Hazel Blacktown, NSW
