Thank you David, those maps were wonderful, especially the 1799 one, as it shows the area where my Gt x 3 Grandmother was mugged, a kind neighbour came along and saved her from being raped. The two fellows were caught and went to trial, but we have not been able to find what their sentences were, so far -- they may have hung for the crime. Sarah Camppin was only a girl of 15 or 16 at the time.
