Hi everyone, I'm back tracking the EMERSON family at the moment as I've been contacted by a 2nd cousin I didn't know existed, and he descends from William Edward NIXEY & Ada Maria EMERSON. I had help some time ago from Nivard and others on this list, and since then Ancestry brought online the London collections which has really helped piece things together. I now know that Edards Edward Emerson married Frances Jane Bean in 1859, and their first child, Edards William born 1860 is the father of Ada Maria. I have found Edards and Frances in the 1861, 1871 and 1881 censuses, Frances died in 1884 and Edards in 1887. In the 1881 census, Edards (b1860 Holborn) is not with the family at St George the Martyr (not surprising really), and so far I have hit a blank trying to find him. Any help would be deeply appreciated. I'd also very much like to hear from anyone connected with the EMERSON family, or the family of Frances Jane BEAN whose father was William BEAN, a Coach Smith.
