I am trying to find Ettie Wood in the census. She married Harry Roland Hargreaves on 3rd June 1903 and gave birth to Humphrey Roland on 29th October 1903 at 3 Alderwick Terrace Heston Hounslow. Harry who was a widower died in 1908. According to their marriage certificate, Ettie was the daughter of Joseph Wood a dry salter and was born in about 1876. However, according to the Commonwealth War Graves Commision web site, Ettie was born in 1873 (she was the first person killed in Brighton in an air raid) Unfortunately I do not have a copy of Ettie's 1911 census entry so am unable to confirm where she was born but may have been in Lancashire All help much appreciated Rick Smith
