Hi Judy A fabulous trip through history, archives, etc. which obviously you have benefited from in many ways. One of my hiccups was in looking for my gg-grandfather's (William Bennett) bride Eliza Mary Marks' family. She was born c.1802 county of MDX, even though the marriage was at Newington, SRY. I was reasonably convinced that I had found her parents and siblings at Marylebone, either carriage makers or builders (William Bennett was a builder) as there was one Eliza Mary Marks being baptised at St. Mary Marylebone 05 May 1802. Imagine my surprise when that particular Eliza Mary Marks turned up some years later in 1847 (long after the wedding in Newington in 1826 and the death of my Eliza Mary in 1843) as a spinster and executrice of her younger brother's Will!
