On Wednesday, October 14th 1931, my great grandmother, Matilda Martha NEWPORT (née NATT) died, in Sussex, where she had been living for some years. She was buried on the following Friday, 16th October, in Hampstead Cemetery (off Fortune Green Lane), in the same grave as her husband, George NEWPORT, who had died, in 1912, and was already buried there. Can anyone suggest, which local paper is the most likely to have had a report (assuming there was one) of her funeral, please, and where Im likely to find a copy? Thanks in advance! John
