No sorry, David, my William (John) Horne, was married in 1861 in Bibbenluke, near Bombala by that stage and had 2 children. My cousin has found a William Horne, miner, (with a miners right), on the Victorian Goldfields, at Creswick, in 1856, so it is more than likely, now that the Wm Horne, aged 19 (correct age) who arrived on the "Wellington" in January 1853 as a Mariner, is ours.
