    2. >From General Advertiser ( 1744 ) ( London, England ), Tuesday, August 27, 1745; Issue 3364. Mr. RENTON , at the Crown and Cushion in Russel-street, Covent-Garden, humbly returns Thanks to the Gentlemen who have favoured him with their Company at his Evening Entertainments, and begs leave to inform them of his Intention to open his Room for the Winter Season on Monday next, at Six in the Evening, when a Gentlemen ( whom he has provided for the Season ) will perform Vocally, and accompany himself on the Harpsichord. Note, As Mr. RENTON hath been at a considerable Expence in providing Musick, etc. he hopes Gentlemen will not think the Charge of Four-pence per Quart for Beer and Ale an Imposition.
