Gladys GARRISON, 84, died June 15, 1995, at Arbor Ridge Nursing Home, Galesburg. She was born July 7, 1910, in Athens, a daughter of Guy and Lottie MARTIN. She was a homemaker and had worked as a laborer at the Simpson Lee Paper Manufacturing, Vicksburg, retiring in 1975. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, crocheting, knitting and embroidery and she attended the Athens United Church of Christ. Surviving are two sons, Arnold GARRISON, Athens, and Leonard GARRISON, Union City; one daughter Wilma BLAIR, Coldwater; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edith SUNDAY, Athens. She was preceded in death by two brothers; six sisters; and one grandson, Thomas GARRISON, in 1990. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today and Sunday at the Spencer Funeral Home, Athens, where services are at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. John Dosh will officiate. Burial will be in Burr Oak Cemetery, Athens.
