In 1840 James, age 80, is living w/son Leonard in Onondaga Co, Ny & receiving 1820 pension for his service in Rev.War. James born NY, died about 1852 @ age 95 probably in Pennfield Twnshp. Have searched Nat'l Archieves, NY State Library, Onondaga Co Library & also Historical Soc. Would there be any record (County or State) to be found in Michigan of his military records as he died there? Thank-you
