You are invited to attend my annual guided tour of Riverside Cemetery in Albion on Sunday, October 3 at 1:30 p.m. The cemetery is located along M-99 at the South city limits. Go to a south entrance and all the way (back) east to the back to Section 129 where the tour will be held. This year's tour is entitled "An Ethnic Tour of Riverside Cemetery, Part 3." This is the so-called "Colored Section" and "Greek Orthodox" section of the cemetery as originally recorded in 1916 in the cemetery records. The event is free and open to all ages. Tour booklets will be available for a nominal fee. The eventis sponsored by the Community Enrichment program of the Albion Public Schools. We will be featuring around 30 selected interments for the tour.
