I found John Edgar REED's cemetery record online (Michigan GenWeb), and sent for his obituary. He was my great grandfather's half-brother, and so now I'm sending for his death certificate. I also went online to the CA Death Index, and found Hattie Beagle REED, died Los Angeles Co. in Nov. 1946.
