Age 80 of Battle Creek Passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2004 in Battle Creek. She was born March 30, 1924 in Richland, MI the daughter of Edward and Rena (Parker) Fister. She married Walton Devine and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1975. Gloria had worked as a home healthcare provider. Painting, animals, and her grandchildren were just some of the activities Gloria enjoyed. Gloria is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Jerry) Palmer of Kalamazoo, Susan (Bill) Stover of Fairborn, OH; step-daughter, Linda (Paul) Evans of Dearborn; grandchildren, Joseph (Tina) Palmer, Charles Palmer, Melissa (Charlie) Church, Catherine Stephens, Michael Marks; step-grandchildren, Thomas (Katie) Shirk, Laura (Jim) Spears, Nathan Evans and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michel Monarch; grandson, Matthew Monarch and uncle, Keith Parker. Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Thursday from 9 - 11am. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:! 00 A.M. at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with Pastor Steven S. Olmstead officiating. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of one's choice.
