Aug. 26, 1759 in Vermont and d. February 03, 1828 in Canandaigua, New York. He married Abigail Chamberlin in 1780. I am a descendent of John's son, Joshua b. 1802. Mrs. Thomas Mears is a descendent of John Reed and joined the DAR through him. I need to get in touch with her or her family to get her information in joining also. Do you know her? Diane
