Dear List, I am trying to discover the Irish origins of Moses HENDRICKS/HENDRIX/HENDRYX, who lived in Marshall and Fredonia., ca. 1850-1870. He had a wife Mary, a son Andrew, and a daughter Mary. The children eventually moved to Colorado, where Andrew's death certificate stated that his mother was Mary REDMOND. I believe, but this is just a guess based on the 1880 census, that Mary's parents were Mordecai and Margaret REDMOND. The one record source that I have not yet explored is that of Catholic church records. Can anyone identify a Catholic parish in Marshall or Fredonia, or a diocesan archive, to which I might write for help? Any help will be greatly appreciated by Rick Sherman Kensington, CA
