Bignell and June R. Day, of Battle Creek, died shortly after birth Monday morning, April 2, 2007, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI. In addition to his parents, Michael is also survived by his two sisters, Renee N. Rine and Novaleigh N. Bignell, her two brothers, Shane F. Snyder and Jack A. Day; his paternal grandfather, Michael L. Bignell of Portage, MI; his maternal grandparents, David K. Ashley of Battle Creek, MI and Myra J. Montague of Gibsonton, FL; his maternal great grandmother, Shirley Ashley of Battle Creek, MI and several aunts and uncles. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Bignell; At the request of the family, the funeral service to celebrate Michael's life will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 1:30 PM at the FARLEY-ESTES & DOWDLE FUNERAL HOME Battle Creek with the Rev. Robert G. Muirhead, officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time on Saturday. Interment will follow in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Emmett Township.
