    3. Does anyone have access to the 1860 census and look for a James & Sylvester Cunningham, probably in Ceresco? They were there by 1861 that I know of, and I looked on the 1871 on-line census, and couldn't find them, but it could be the spelling was off. Nothing for the 1880 census either.     3. Marc, I looked, but the results were less than perfect. Here they are: Name age birthplace County Location James 45 England Livingston Hamburg James 26 Ireland Livingston Green Oak James 61 England Wayne Detroit 3WD James 40 Ireland Wayne Detroit 8WD Sylvester 16 Michigan Calhoun Marshall I also looked for an "S. Cunningham" and found nothing. That's suspicious. You would think that would give lots of results when you search all of Michigan for S. Cunningham.     3. Marc, I checked for Sylvester Cuningham too. What other spelling might there be?
