MI James Cummings - 1836 - 1916 Mary Abigail - 1838-1877 Mary's death is in the Michigan GENDIS death Index. Mary's parents are listed as Ira and Mary Ann Case. I'd like to know the maiden name of her mother. Census records show James Cummings is of New York and his parents are of NY. He's said to be possibly of Cayuga Co., NY but I haven't verified that. I'd like to know who his parents are. Also, marriage date for James and Mary Abigail is given as 1860 in Leroy Twp., Calhoun Co., MI. She still lives with her father in 1860 and is 22 years of age and not yet married at time of Census.
