As I recall, John and Selah are buried in the same cemetery as my Laberteaux ancestors. From a plat map, their farms were in close proximity. I knew from previous research that Stouts/Sturts had married with the Laboyteaux's (original spelling) through the Dutch Reformed Church in NJ in the mid 1700s. I wondered if these families might be known to each other before migrating to Calhoun Co. Mine came by way of PA, and Cayoga Co., NY.
