My grandma was born in Battle Creek Mi. of Urbandale in 1921 moved to Il when 16 yrs old. (Florence Jasmon) Here is what I know Mr and Mrs Mahlon on Urbandale had a son named Lloyd Elroy (aka Roy) born 8/15/1873 he married Emma Dolly Tapley b 1/16/50 (which her parents were James Bennett Tapley and Mary E. Brewer-Tapley which moved to Battle Creek Mi in 1919 and settle at the address 603 West Main St. they were married on 12/20/1892 at his parents home located at 86th place, near S. Sangamon St. Lloyd Elroy d 2/22/1920 at Nichols Hosp and buried at Oak Hill, when he did his parents were still alive as well as his brother Charles M of Urbandale, sisters Mrs Matthew of Level Park and Mrs Allen if Machinaw Il. (sisters first names unknown).. his wife Emma (aka) Dolly d 1/16/50.... Roy and Dolly Children Lloyd Elmer Olmsted b 6/27/1893 m Mildred 6/26/1926 d 6/12/1936 at mother Dolly home located at 267 Machester, also buried at Oak Hill. He served in the Company K in World War. I know of one son Charles Elroy b 1927 James (aka Jim) Tapley Olmsted b 2/15/1896 m Francis La Barre 12/31/1923..children unknown, but I know was still living in Battle Creek in 1936 when brother died. address I had was Graves Ave where settled after getting married by Rev J.c Cook pastor of Urbandale M.E. Church Myrtle (aka) Mary Olmsted b 3/5/1898 m 5/20/04 in St. Louis Mi. Roscoe Jasmon 7/1/1989 ...settled in Battle Creek Michigan had 3 children Florence Evelyn b 2/2/1921 (my grandma) , Virgina b 1925 and Roscoe Jr. b 1930, then the moved to Spfld Il, in 1935. There was move then one Charles Olmsted one had a daughter June one had daughter Doris and Dorothy and other had a daughter named Shirley...... Surnames names close to my Olmsted/ Olmste(a)d family where Mack and Overholt, Can you tell me if you know this family name, address listed and where Oak Hill Cem is located and Number so I can call there?
