The emphasis of the presentation will be on the role of women in the past. The pre-senter will approach it from the angle of how they perceived their own roles and how others perceived their roles at different times. Shirley is the past president of the Eaton County Michigan Genealogical Society and the Mid-Michigan Genealogical Society. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Court-house Square Association, Inc. (CSA). This foundation was formed for the preservation and rehabilitation of the 1885 courthouse in Eaton County, Michigan.
