I typed it as Prine because that was the way the obituary was typed. I didn't want to change it and typed it exactly as the newspaper printed it. Mary's parents were John Adams Perine b. 6 Apr 1810, d. 1897 and Sally Sarah Smith b. 2 Sep 1815, d. 6 Aug 1891 (I have her obituary). Besides Mary their children were George b. 1833, Russell b. 1839, Helen Minerva b. 1837, Pitman Wesley b. 31 Mar 1842, Paul K. b. 26 Nov 1845, Charles b. 1847 and Sarah b. 1850.
