Myself [Tim Swartout] and Dennis Secord are also looking into the Swartout-Secord connection. Julia would be my great-aunt [I think]. She was my grandfather William Swartout's sister. Their other siblings were; Rosa [Thompson] and Jennie [Brown?]. Their parents, my great-grandparents were John H. Swarthout and Emma [Parks] Swarthout. Dennis and I are hot on the trail, as of July 2007, for their burial sites, in Battle Creek. We definitely have Julia's & Charles at Reese Cemetery in BC, and possible findings of Rosa, Jennie and Emma's at Memorial Park in BC. Further to come.
