She was born Sara Elizabeth Shaw in Wiarton, Ontario in April of 1898. Her parents were George and Harriet (Clement) Shaw. Her sister Eliza Jane also settled in Battle Creek, she married JB Foster. I have some information on Eliza, but we can't seem to find anything on Sara Elizabeth (Lily) and her family. I know she passed away before 1944 as she is listed as pre-deceased in her brother Writson's obituary, Dec. 29, 1944. My grandfather was her brother Harry. Her siblings were all born in Palmerston, Ont. Any information on Sara Elizabeth would be most appreciated. Thank you. C.M. in Owen Sound, Ontario.
