Ragina, aged 89, of Battle Creek, died Monday, January 31, 2005, at Select Specialty Hospital, Battle Creek. Ted was born December 20, 1915, in Chicago and came to Battle Creek in 1938 from Ludington, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He had been employed by the Clark Equipment Company for twenty seven and a half years in supervision until 1977. He had written Clark Equipment retirees publication and was a member of the Clark management club. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Norman) Lohroff of Wayland; sons, Robert (Marla) Ragina of Fennville and Randy J. Ragina and his companion David Brinkert of Portage; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Maxine (Wolfe) Ragina, in 1992. Visitation after 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home in Battle Creek, with family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at! the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Zuhl officiating.
